The shoes of St.Spyridon are kept here as a treasureous relics. According to the legend, these shoes are annually changed because they get worn out. As St.Spyridon travels the world to help people.
Spyridon Trimifuntum was a regular shepherd, but due to his righteous life he was proclaimed Bishop. He helped eveyone in need. Thanks to his prayers, the dead were resurrected, the diseased were healed.
Today people ask Spyridon for help in financial issues or problems with real estate. He also helps to solve the problems with debts.
